Former Playboy Playmate and Baywatch actress Patricia Cornwall – better known by her stage name of Patty Breton – was arrested after allegedly assaulting a fellow passenger.
Breton, most known for her Baywatch and Playboy appearances, has also appeared in the hit TV show Married with Children. She was also an LA Raiders cheerleader as a younger woman.
In a recording of the incident in question Breton, on a Delta flight from Florida to Atlanta, is allegedly seen hitting the elderly man and spitting on him. The impetus for the altercation was purportedly the fact that the victim was not wearing a face mask; witnesses attributed this to the fact that he was having a mid-flight snack and beverage.
Breton came into contact with the alleged victim when, upon returning from the restroom, a flight attendant with a food cart asked Breton to take an available seat until she had moved past with the cart.
Breton received this request with ill humor, and sardonically asked “what am I, Rosa Parks?” in a reference to the civil rights heroine who refused to give up her seat on a segregated bus.
Not Black, Not on a Bus, and Not in Alabama!
At this stage the gentleman with whom Breton argued was reported to have taken offense to her inappropriate comparison. He told Breton that she was neither black, on a bus, or in Alabama.
At this stage, the argument became a full-blown altercation. Breton repeatedly told the man to “put [his] fucking mask on”. The unidentified man refused to do so, and repeatedly called Breton a “Karen”.
The confrontation escalated after he called Breton a “bitch”, which led to Breton striking the man, scratching him, and spitting in his face. Following this, Breton was restrained by flight attendants and removed to the rear of the plane.
The arrest wasn’t Breton’s first brush with the law. She has twice previously been arrested for driving-related offenses; the first was in December of 2020, when she was breathalyzed by officers and found to be over the legal limit.
She was again arrested in November of 2021, after a minor collision with a tree. The police were called when a bystander perceived the smell of alcohol on her breath. When police arrived, Breton became belligerent and uncooperative, refusing to take a breathalyzer test. She failed an on-the-spot sobriety test and was detained by the attending officers.
Breton’s legal problems have also involved family members. Her sister-in-law, Monica Cummings, filed for domestic violence protection from Breton after her allegedly threatening behavior.
Cummings stated that she believed her sister-in-law was obsessed with her (Cummings’) children, and that she was mentally unwell. The domestic violence protection was granted in January of 2021.

As a result of her legal travails, Breton has been sentenced to 3 years’ probation and ordered to complete 100 hours of community service. She was also required to attend counseling regarding her drinking problem.
At the time of writing, Breton had not offered comment upon her Delta Air misadventure, nor any other of her legal issues.
