As I’ve remarked many times (and will remark many more times), plain ol’ porn is fine, but sometimes you want a little interactivity along with your wanking or fingering.

Cherry.tv has three overarching (and simple) categories: girls, trans, and couples.
Girls
The bread and butter of Cherry.tv, the ‘Girls’ category is by far the busiest. You’ll find dozens of girls online at any one time, though it has to be said that the content is definitely skewed towards the Latin American side of things.
At the time of writing, three out of four girls were from Colombia. It’s only natural, as the cam girl industry is all the rage there.
One thing that can be said for Cherry.tv is that you can get a lot of mileage out of the free cam feeds.
Most girls offer a basic free feed, and a hell of a lot of girls are happy to get naked and go to town with sex toys without a penny exchanging hands.
Note that this isn’t universal; some girls keep their clothes firmly on until they enter a group or private show.
Trans
A somewhat disappointingly underserved category on Cherry.tv, you can count the number of active trans models on one hand (no doubt you’ll be busy with the other) outside peak hours. You might get 10-20 when it’s busy. Either way, that’s not so many.
The trans girls tend not to be as generous with the freebies as the cis girls, but you’ll still find one or two jerking off in the free cam feeds. Which, when you consider how few trans performers there are overall, is actually quite a high percentage.
Couples
If you thought the trans category was underserved, you’re gonna hate the couples section. When I checked, there was a mere two couples feeds, and one of them seemed only to have one performer.
The other had two cis women, a trans woman and a guy. Last time I checked, there are exactly two people in a couple, so I think you’d have a fair case under the trades descriptions act in either case.
Tags
Not “categories” per se, but Cherry.tv has a bunch of tags that can narrow the playing field for you. There are around 100 tags (they confusingly call them “categories”, but they’re not really) that can help you find what you’re looking for, from MILFs to Venezuelans to Arab to everything in between.
Design Of The Site
I gotta be honest here – I don’t love the design of Cherry.tv. It has the standard porn site layout of menus to the left and the bulk of the screen taken up with cam-feed thumbnails, so the basics are all well and good.
Tags are shown right at the bottom (so you might miss them unless you’re really looking, like me), and there’s an option to look at all available tags, which run into the hundreds.
It’s straightforward enough to browse the main categories (girls, trans, couples) and see what takes your fancy, but if you’re looking for something specific, you might not find it so easy.
Although the site has a bunch of filters, quite often, those filters don’t net any hits. Weirder still, sometimes a tag search would tell me that there were no ‘trans cams’ available, even if the tag I was searching wasn’t specifically trans. Sometimes it would simply return no hits.
There are a few other janky things about the site, too. There’s no hover-over preview on feeds, making it a bit of a chore if you just want to browse without clicking through to a feed.
I actually suspect, in fact, that there’s supposed to be a preview, as occasionally all of the thumbnails would jerk forward a few frames.
Either way, it’s a pain in the ass to simply browse without wanting to click through.
It’s largely the same experience on mobile, though things are clean and crisply laid out, and you can scroll through the available feeds.
Again, there is no thumbnail video preview. Still, the static images do update every ten seconds or so, again giving that weird feeling that there are supposed to be thumbnail video previews.
All in all, the site design is… fine, I guess, but there is definitely a lot of room for improvement.
How Much Does Cherry.tv Cost?
Everything on Cherry.tv is done with their own proprietary virtual currency known as ‘tokens’.
One token is worth roughly ten cents (USD), but as is so often the case with these proprietary sex site currencies, they go down the more you buy. Cherry.tv’s pricing scheme works as follows:
- 100 tokens for $9.99 (the smallest number of tokens purchasable)
- 210 tokens for $19.99
- 320 tokens for $29.99
- 550 tokens for $49.99
- 900 tokens for $79.99
- 1150 tokens for $99.99
To put this into perspective: a private chat costs around 30 tokens per minute, which is more or less standard for cam sites.
The cost drops off pretty quickly if opting for group chats, so it might not be a bad idea to get in on one of those if you’re watching your pennies.
There is also an option to sneak a peek at the ongoing action in someone else’s private or group chat for a fraction of the cost of an actual group chat.
Note that you won’t be directing the action, but that might not be your thing anyway.
If you want the deluxe treatment, you might consider getting a VIP account. This costs $17.99/month, and you get a few goodies for your hard-earned money: 200 free coins (a one-off, unfortunately), the ability to private message models, special gifts to give to the performers, and moderators may choose to make you the moderator of their room.
It’s worth trialling for a month since that’s what you’d spend on 200 coins anyway; if it’s not for you, just go back to buying the coins by yourself.
What I Like About Cherry.tv
Cherry.tv is a great entry-level cam site, particularly if you’re strapped for cash. The fact that so many models are willing to go pretty far even in their free feeds is great for the casual browser, and there’s a lot of mileage to be had out of the site without spending a penny.
One thing that I didn’t mention about the site (but that is pretty cool) is the fact that the more you interact with models (in any way – messaging, gift-giving, private shows, etc.), the more special badges, bells and whistles you’ll get.
“Whoopee shit”, you might be thinking, “who cares about special badges?” Well, the fact is that the models do.
If you’ve got these shiny accoutrements, you’ll typically get accorded more attention from the models.
Overall, Cherry.tv is good for newbies looking for a decent, low-cost entry into cam sites – provided you’re into cis girls.
What I Don’t Like About Cherry.tv
The site could definitely do with a design overhaul. The lack of preview on hover and subpar search filters don’t exactly inspire confidence or make for a smooth user experience, and once or twice I came across feeds that had to pause to buffer – really not what you’re looking for from a cam site.
There’s also not a whole lot on the table for those who want something more than cis girls. There are almost no trans performers, never any more than a handful of couples online, and absolutely zero gay content.
As mentioned before, it’s perfectly fine if you’re just into girls, and kinda shit if you’re into anything else.
That said, Cherry.tv is a young site, and it has time to grow. Given a little time to broaden its stable of models and diversify its content, we could be looking at a very different site.
Conclusion
Cherry.tv isn’t perfect, but it’s great for those looking to check out some hot chicks without having to shell out too much.
The willingness of models to get naked and go to work with sex toys is, to my knowledge, unparalleled and definitely a big draw for a lot of people.
